“Famed West Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont will be reborn as a private, members-only property.
Under a new business model, Chateau Marmont will become members-owned, said a hotel spokeswoman. In addition to hotel accommodations, members will have exclusive access to a private dining area and dedicated staff. They also will be able to leave personal belongings behind for extended periods as they come and go.
All prospective members will be vetted, with membership fees to be announced....”
Chateau Marmont says 70% of its clientele are repeat guests.

Chateau Marmont converting to members-only hotel
The famed West Hollywood hotel will complete its transition over the next year or so, with owner Andre Balazs planning to expand the concept to other cities.
