hi,
We are going to Sedona Summit April 7-15. I just found out the charge for internet is $29.99 per week. We have never used an air card. How much are they and will they work well in Sedona? We have a Windows PC an an Apple PC
and an Android tablet and an Android phone. I have tried using the phone to avoid fees,..not worth it. What is the best way to go?

Internet

I just returned from The Ridge at Sedona Golf. This is the sister resort to the Summit.

I "think" that if you get internet at home through AT&T or their subs (like SBCGlobal), you can get free internet. You just log on with your regular AT&T username and password.

If you aren't with AT&T, you can get free internet in their lobby. When I was in Sedona 3 wks ago I used their lobby computer each day. There was some usage by others but it wasn't that heavy. You sign up for 20 minutes but if no one is waiting you can use it for longer.

Alternatively, there are a bunch of coffee shops in town plus McDonalds and Starbucks where you can get free wireless.

Good luck. :hi:

We stayed there last year about the same time of year and just paid the $29.99. That comes out to less than $5/day and it was so worth it to be able to use the internet any time we wanted to and not have to go to the office or drive to a coffee shop.

We paid for the WiFI hotspot on my husband's Verizon phone. If we have a good signal, we can use the laptop and tablet off the phone signal. $20/mo or $5 /week. First time trying this. We will see next week.

Is FoxFi an option for your husbands phone?
