Changing the name on my reservation

Hi everyone. I think I rented my OceanWatch week. A tenative thank you to everyone who encouraged me to use redweek, despite my objections due to costs and the fear of it not renting.

Anyway, I recently called Marriott and had my reservation added to my reward account -- or maybe MVCI automatically did that for me, I don't remember. Provided my renter actually send me the payment for my week, can I just call Marriott and have the reservation transferred to my renter's name, or do I have to go through MVCI? Thanks for the help.

I am pretty sure you can call Owner Services and have them add the renter to the reservation. They won't ever take it out of your name completely, but they will add your renter to it. I think you can have them list the renters name first followed by yours. Others with more experience in this will chime in.
