Changing a Reservation

I just got an II conformation on a pretty good trade that I would like to piggyback on a week at one of my home resorts that I reserved some time ago. The problem is there is a two day gap between reservations. Can I change my reservation with MVC for a date that is two days later if that date is still available? If so, what will be the cost? I'm not a member of the DC. Also, what is the deadline for cancelling the II reservation?

Happy Thanksgiving. You have 24 hours to cancel an II exchange.

If you wish to change the check in date for your home week you will need to call Owner Services. Assuming the date is available there is a fee. A few years ago it was $35 to change dates. It could be more now.

I've been fortunate to change an II exchange check in day (when it was available) to another "official" resort check in day that week without charge. You can call II and see it it's available.

The only way you can change the II reservation is if II has a week with the checkin date you want. You can't call Owner Services and change the checkin date of an II exchange, even if it is available.

You can of course change your home resort reservation, if it is still available to checkin two days later, by calling Owner Services.
