I recently read (and cannot find it) that there was a change in the trading power in II. using Starwood.
I own a Starwood Sheraton Vistana, 2 bedroom, week 9. It is a fixed week.
I think they call it Gold Select.
Denise, Do you know what thread that is in ?

I know there was some dialogue within the Sightings board as it related to Harborside at Atlantis -- perhaps that is the best place to look, I don't think it was here on the Starwood board.

Good luck!

I don't believe there has been a recent change in trading power. The change came in Aug. of 2009 when Starwood and II changed the system, and as time goes on, we are starting to figure it out. The reason the topic came up recently is that there was a bulk deposit for Harborside and we were able to compare the trading power of many resorts using the deposit.

Denise, I have to disagree. There are changes in trading power overall, not only SVR. This topic is discussed in the HRA thread in sightings board. In previous HRA deposits (not the 2 most recent ones), my 2BR Fixed/Float SVR had no issues seeing HRA, including 2BR. In the 2 most recent bulk deposits (Jan-Feb 2012 and Sep-Nov 2012), my SVR would not pull any, including 1BR. I believe if one has a good fixed SVR week as in your case, trading power remains to be good.
