Chances for Key West in 11/16

I am thinking of doing an ongoing search for a Key West timeshare for Nov. 2016. I am a weeks owner and I have 48 TPU's available. What are my chances
on being lucky? Is 48 TPU's enough?

I am thinking of Reflections at Ocean Key House or The Galleon resort are their any more?

I just searched and there is a 2BR exchange available for October 2015 at the Galleon (17 TPU), so you might get lucky if you put in an OGS for next November.

Not sure when this is but it's pretty close in time. I agree that November is a slower time unless you're looking for Thanksgiving week but would have a back up cancellable reservation in hand in case it doesn't come through. Been years since I've been to Key West though and it used to be easier than it is now to get exchanges like that.

I'm an owner at the Hyatt Sunset Harbor (weeks 4 & 6). I keep an eye on the different KW trading opportunities. Hyatts trade through II, but I'm an RCI weeks member as well for other resorts that I own.


It's been years since I've seen anything available at Reflections. I'm not even sure if they operate as a timeshare now, but am not certain about that.

This is a good plan.

I just got an OGS for a late July Jackson Gore, Ludlow, Vt. the other day.

I agree that a November Key West OGS stands a decent chance and that your backup plan of renting by next April is a good one. Check out TUG rentals, Redweek and myresortnetwork.com.

The Banyan and Coconut Beach are other good choices. Too bad they don't trade with RCI.
