I had cataract surgery on the 8th and 15th and did the Tecnis multi focal lens. I can see distance fine, and my doctor says I have 20/25 vision. Well I can't read and she says don't buy readers, keep trying. It is very frustrating. I really can't see numbers and have dialed a lot of wrong numbers. can't read the paper, books, etc. have the computer set at 150, but can't read the keys. If I bring print way up, I can read it but my handwriting is so bad I couldn't read that before!
Anyhow, those with experience. Will it get better. should I go weeks without reading, my favorite passtime, or should i go out and buy readers.
