Hello,
It's finally time to replace my old carpet steam cleaner which doesn't spray cleaner or suck up very well anymore. Does anyone have a recommendation for a brand and model you love or ones to stay clear of? I've been searching epinions but I've gotten so confused over which model is good or not worth it. Costco is selling a professional Rug Doctor for $500, I wish, but I think not!

Thanks!

Jackie

I really like my Hoover Steamvac Deluxe 1500 which I got at Sears 3-4 years ago on sale for maybe $199 or so. It does a GREAT job, and is easy to use.

I don't use it very often, but when I do I kick myself for putting off, because it's quite easy and is also kind of fun to see dirty water schlurping up through the clear suction part :p

There's no question that I'd buy it or one like it again, though I'll bet it'll last a long long time.
