It just happened to me again today: shortening a holds points booking removed my Chairman’s Club discount for an upcoming stay. The supervisor acknowledged the problem, but could only make a request for someone else to return my overcharged points “sometime” over the next few days, which surprised me. In the past, I’ve waited on the line while corrections were being made.

I ended today’s call knowing that fortunately/unfortunately I have points enough to make whatever other close date bookings I need for now, but I hope they correct this glitch soon, because we don’t always have such flexibility!

Just updating to say that the overcharged points are now back in my account, for future use.
