Car rental in Myrtle Beach

Hi,
We will be vacationing for the first time next August in Myrtle Beach. I bought my airfare which was much higher in price than I expected; and now I am looking at car rentals. Are the car rentals right at the airport, or are they located off site? Thankyou, Sue

Most airports will either have the rental cars onsite or a short shuttle ride away. I tend to use hotwire.com for my car rentals becuase I can always get them cheap. I just got a standard size car from Thursday to Sunday for $62 at Nashville (9/29-10/2).

The rental car counters are located in the terminal. Try the various rental companies to check the prices and than go to Hotwire.com to see what they have. On recent trips, Hotwire has been the cheapest in Myrtle Beach with Hertz being the company. If you belong to SAMs, Costco or BJ's you should try the discount codes they offer. Good luck.

I have used hotwire.com with great success for Myrtle Beach car rentals.

Type in the airport code MYR and the car rental companies will be in the aiport.

You should get a good deal for August if you are patient.

And once you do book, keep checking as prices sometimes go down - that applies anywhere, not just Myrtle.
