Car rental in Cabo

We are going to Cabo in a few weeks, and I have had a rental van booked with Dominic for almost a year. But our plans and needs changed, and we are now doing the AI at PBSB for 2 out of the 3 weeks that we will be there. So I canceled the rental van we had wilth Dominic.
I feel terrible about sticking him with an unused rental with only 3 weeks to find someone. So, if anyone needs a van beginning February 4, either call Dominic or PM me. I hope this doesn't fall under the advertising ban, cause all I really want to do is soothe my conscience. We have always rented from Dominic, and he says not to worry about it, but my Midwestern guilt is running wild.

Kathy, try posting this on the Trip Advisor Cabo San Lucas forum - might get someone interested there - it might help soothe your conscience a little more!

Looking for a good care rental lead

We've been going to our Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach timeshare for six years now. This year, we want to rent a car, probably just for a few days out of our two weeks there.

Who is Dominic? I'm looking for good leads other than the usual Avis/Hertz route.

Dominic Car rental

Hi, We will be going to Cabo for the 1st time this Sept. and I like to drive around and check out the sights along with getting groceries, going to dinner etc. I've been reading about the car rental companies and it seems that Dominic is the one to go with. Now I understand he's not affiliated with the "named" agencies so just to clarify how is he? His prices compared to the rest? and his cars? Are they in pretty good shape? I'll probably rent a small compact car but not a sub-compact. Thanks.

I've been reading about the car rental companies and it seems that Dominic is the one to go with.

You can contact him by email at domosanlucas@prodigy.net.mx Tell him what you want and he'll give you a rate, which you can then compare with the rental companies. We were very happy with his service. The car wasn't brand new but it was in good working condition and we didn't have any problems.

One of his guys met us at the airport & we paid him in cash. When we left, we parked the car in the airport parking lot, put the keys under the mat, and locked the door.
