There is a National desk at the Surf Club down the hall from the front desk. You can rent directly from them.

I would check other car rental companies in Aruba. Many will deliver the car to your resort and pick it up as well. We rented from Royal and they delivered the car to The Ocean Club and we returned it to their location by the airport as we were leaving. I think you could save some money by shopping around
We had a great experience renting a jeep from http://www.more4less-aruba.com/ when we were in aruba 5 years ago. We were staying at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino so we were much closer to them than the Marriott Time shares. We chose an off-road ready jeep and took it all over the island over 3 days included the Ocean pool, Lighthouse and onto the sands of beach on the windward side that we had all to ourselves. Enjoy your trip, we sure did...
