Canyon Villas Use of JW facilities

I just learned that Canyon Villas no longer provides Platinum MR members complementary access to the Spa fitness center and locker room. Marriott keeps taking things away. Do CV guests still have access to JW pools and can we charge hotel charges to our room?

I noticed a big increase in our MF for Canyon Villas for shuttle service, so I assume this now is covered by owners rather than the hotel. One of my greatest concerns about the spinoff is that MVC resorts will gradually lose use of adjacent resort facilities. This is very important to my CV and Royal Palms ownership.

We visited there a couple of weeks ago when we were in town and were told the owners and guests in the villas have access to the facilities at the JW. There is a shuttle as you mentioned and it runs every half hour. Unfortunately, I didn't ask any further details, but others may be able to provide them. The JW is very impressive. Enjoy!

With the changes in ownership of both locations, I am not surprised.

Marriott sold the JW and The time-share was spun off.

So now any arrangement between the hotel and TimeShare will have to be made between two separate companies, similar to the situation at Desert Springs.

Hopefully the owners of the JW are more reasonable.
