Canyon Villas - They Messed Up But Came Through With a Great Makeup

It was our anniversary and we did a staycation weekend at the Canyon Villas. Very enjoyable weekend. However, there was one glitch. We had reservations at Meritage for our anniversary dinner and I had ordered a dozen roses to be placed on the table. They did not get there. The restaurant said they were never delivered, and that they had contacted the concierge desk numerous times. When I contacted the florist the next day they said they were delivered to the concierge at the JW at noon the day of our dinner. The florist gave me a full refund anyway. Then last night a girl came by our room with the flowers (obviously the ones that were delivered because it had my personalized note on it), a bottle of wine (the exact same bottle that we had at Meritage the night before that cost us $68) and some chocolate covered strawberries! What a nice surprise! Even though they screwed up the original flower delivery they really made up for it. That is good customer service, and I appreciated it. :cheer:

So glad you enjoyed your time there and that they came through for you. We are staying there for a week next year and are really looking forward to it.
