Canyon Villas - Room Configuration

I just booked a 2 BR at Canyon Villas using Destination Points. My reservation on the MVC site shows "2BR (fn)". And I noticed on the confirmation that it said "2 Bedroom, Bedroom 1: 1 King, Bedroom 2: 2 Queen, Sofa Bed".

I have stayed there a few times in the past and the configuration was always a 2 BR lockoff unit with a King in the master bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room, and another King and sofa bed in the lockoff.

So I'm not sure what I have booked. Are there some non-lockoff units (configured like Newport Coast)? Or do some of the lockoffs there have two queen beds in them? Or are there some lockoffs with a queen (instead of a king) and the sofa bed is the second queen?

Are there any Tuggers who can shed some light on this for me?

I have had the second bedroom with 2 queens there and with the k and sofa bed. I guess the two true beds were in a non lock off.

I've been to Canyon Villas and have not seen a studio portion with two separate beds. It has always been a king or queen bed plus the sleeper sofa. This is what also is displayed in the room layouts on the owners page.

Here is my confirmation for my upcoming stay in March.
ROOM TYPE
2 Bedroom Villa, Bedroom 1: 1 King, Bedroom 2: 1 King, Sofa beds: 2, Bathrooms: 2, Balcony

They have both units at Canyon Villas. The 2 newest buildings on the far end of the resort are non-lockoffs with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. The rest of the property are lock-offs which have the single king bed and sleeper sofa in the second bedroom.

I always need to make sure I reserve the lock-off weeks, because there's a chance when reserving the week they'll give you a non-lockoff.

That is good to know. I will try to request non-lockoff villas when I need 2 beds in the second bedroom. I didn't see any options when I reserved a 2BR with points, so I assume this is randomly assigned. I will ask the room assignment managers whether requests can be made for non-lockoffs when a lock-off 2BR is assigned to the official reservation.
