Wow, great buy!
But given some of the horror stories that have been posted lately, I don't think that in this depressed economy $8,000 is that rock-bottom of a resale price.

As an owner, this is indeed depressing! However, I have benefited so much from owning a peak week there (rental income, exchanges, Marriott points redemption) that I'm ahead of the game even if I have to sell at this price :)

no reserve Ebay sales are basically fire sales, so I wouldn't say that is the average market price for a week. If someone was to list that unit for a higher price and had patience, I would bet the sales price would be higher.
