I like 2400, 2500 and 2600 surrounding the Cholla courtyard. It is usually pretty quiet.

Earlier I commented, in error, regarding Newport Coast. Oops.

Does this resort have parking included? Or resort fees?

If/when we return, I think we would prefer the east end of the property. That being buildings 2300 through 2600. I believe 2300 and 2400 are dedicated 2BR units. These would only be available if you are booked into a dedicated (single entry) unit.

My wife likes this resort better than I do. My main issue with Canyon Villas is the pool situation. There is effectively only one pool area. That being the main pool by buildings 2700 and 2800. The Lizard Lagoon pool area between 3200 and 3300 is only a foot deep. It isn't a pool that most people want to go to. Even small kids don't really want to hang out there. It is a glorified wading pool. Adults want a standard pool and the kids go where the parents go. This leaves an underutilized Lizard Lagoon and splash pad. The Spa Pool is okay, but again, it isn't a pool that most people go to. Thus there is only one pool area and it tends to get busy. IMO, Lizard Lagoon should have just been a regular pool. IMO, right now it is just a big waste of space.

Haven't you stayed in a lock off unit? According to this post you have more times than not.
Yeah, that was a mix up on my part. I've stayed in both LO and non-LO. I think that I like the LO unit slightly better and that is usually what I get when I exchange.

We've never received a dedicated 2BR. I suspect that is because most of the units are lock off.
