Cancun- Captains Cove or Hacienda Sisal lately?

We haven't been to either in several years. Just wondering if anyone has been to either or both recently, and your experience. Good, mediocre, great?

Captains Cove

Was at Captains Cove last Wednesday February 1st. My brother and I both had the prime rib. I would say the service was very good as was the food. I feel both the service and food have improved from my last visit several years ago. Also had a bottle of Mexican wine (Casa Madero),a blended cab/sauv/merlot that was excellent.

We ate at Captain's Cove last year and it was excellent. I have not been impressed with Sisal the last couple times, so we quit going there. I recommend El Conquistador, in The Mayan. It is also excellent.

We were at Captain's Cove Tuesday Jan 31. As always great food, and great service! Lots to choose from!

We like the atmosphere of "The Cove", especially on arrival day. Sunset, drinks and food put us in vacation frame of mind right away.

The Seafood Feast for 2 was excellent, as always.

Captain Cove was Excellent on Feb 2!

We were at the Captain Cove on Feb 2 and the Seafood Platter for 2 was Excellent! My in-laws went to the Sisal on Feb 1 and they said it was Good, better than last year, but we haven't went yet. Although what they keep talking about was the Margaritas and Keylime pie (at the Sisal).

We went to Hacienda Sisal for my wife's birthday January 12, along with our daughter and a couple of her friends; we did not do the show. We enjoyed it a lot. Then went back for a 2 for 1 special they only offer on Saturday night, if you happen to be staying another week. Great deal! Need to get the coupons for this from your concierge.
