Hello, been lurking here for a couple of years, having gained helpful information which allowed us to rent a Wyndham timeshare in Hawaii recently. We have an odd question and thought someone here might be able to point us in the right direction. My parents have been Marriott owners at Newport Coast for many years, and often purchase the Encore package. They are scheduled to attend a presentation next weekend at a different Marriott property, along with their stay in the hotel. The travel and attendance to the presentation is now presenting a challenge, as my grandmother is in her last moments with us, last rights have been read, etc. They don't want to leave her in this moment. Are they going to just lose the funds they paid for the presentation if they don't attend? Does anyone know if Marriott allows a short notice postponement in this situation? I'm sure there is a number I can call on their behalf, would anyone have the best contact information to try? Appreciate any recommendations. Thank you

Yes, call them. There is a phone number specific to the Encore packages that would be best to call, so you don't get bounced around. If you explain, hopefully they will work it out with you when you explain the situation. Best of luck!

Just wanted to thank everyone who responded. We reached out and Marriott allowed a reschedule - my father was on hold quite a while, but they made it happen! Appreciate your support.

Thanks for letting us know. That is a little good news in this difficult time.
