canceling reservation through Marriott/Bonvoy app?

Hi all,

I'm trying to to cancel a points reservation made on MVC. The hold times on the phone are extremely long. Is it possible to cancel the reservation on Marriott/Bonvoy app? The reservation shows up and there is a cancel option, but I'm not sure if the points will be returned properly.

Just cancelled points reservation through computer and everything was seamless, points returned instantly.

I ended up getting a callback after ~2 hours to cancel DC points reservation. I completely forgot to ask about online cancelation through Marriott instead of MVC. Meh
