They are very stealthy and generally stay well out of sight of humans. I have come across their tracks on several occasions, but have only caught a brief glimpse of a lynx once in my lifetime. Amazing story and a real case of both good timing and awareness. Thanks so much for sharing it. :cool:

Perhaps in the USA, but they are not endangered here in Canada, which is where the picture was taken. Still lots of habitat for them in less-populated areas.
