Missed the same one. Like Karen, not sure why this photo was associated with the correct answer. The one that tripped me up was the soldier in a helmet that said "war is hell." That could be any war I would think.

That 'tin pot' was just Viet Nam era. I guess you just had to be there to get that clue. That was probably the one that had me scratching my head the most.

I missed number 9. I thought the right answer was Victory Day in America because it looked like these were Americans celebrating the Victory and the newspaper headline was in English. After I missed this I realized that Victory Day was a celebration of the victory in Europe, which was the right answer.
It was interesting to see a picture of the construction of the Berlin Wall and then later, the removal of the Berlin Wall.

I missed number 9.
I noticed that each time I went to the site the photos were rearranged in a different order. The helmet picture was #25 when I did the test. For me that photo was #15.
Thanks for that link. Very interesting story. All war is hell but for this quiz a famous photograph by Horst Fass was used to depict the war in question.
That is why the there is only one correct answer for this question.
Here is a good article on that photograph.

I got 32 of 33, guessed incorrectly on 1 out of 2 that I wasn't sure. But if it wasn't a multiple-choice test and we had to label each picture, I wouldn't have done nearly as well.
Enjoyed seeing the pics all in one place. Thanks for posting it, Karen!
