I have a unit in Aruba Surf Club. 2 bdr. I deposited the one bedroom with Interval and got an AC. I thought me depositing the unit gave it to Interval to use...how is that it is still showing as an available unit in my units to exchange? Also, I exchanged my 2009 week in St. Thomas for a week in 2008 at HH. Why didn't I get an AC with that? Is it because I did a request first? I am so confused...

Intervals that I have already traded for points with Marriott also still show as "available" in II?
Regarding the AC: using the request first method of exchange will squelch an AC - they are only rewarded with deposit first exchanges.

The right to use the unit for exchange is still available, and will show up as being available for exchange, in II. However, you have given up your right to occupy the unit.

AC's are only given for some 1BR or larger DEPOSITS. No AC's are given if a "request first" is made, unless the unit is later deposited before exchanging.
