I put my 2009 MOW unit into II for trade but now I would like to take it back and instead trade it back to Marriott for points. Is that possible to do before the end of 2008?

Thanks

No, thats not possible. Once you give the week to II you cant get it back.

Agreed. Had you reserved a week and not deposited it, you could cancel the reservation ($29 fee) and trade it for points ($104 fee).

That's different. Since you said you "put [your] 2009 MOW unit into II", it certainly sounded to us as though you had deposited it. With a Request First, you only give your week to II if an exchange is confirmed.

Yes, with a Request First, all you need to do is cancel your exchange request with II. Then call Owner Services and trade for points. You'll pay the two fees ($29 and $104) I mentioned above.
