Can I cancel just part of an RCI Points reservation?

Suppose I have booked an RCI Points reservation for 6 nights at an RCI Points resort. Assuming it is more than 120 days before check-in, can I cancel 2 nights, keep the remaining 4 night reservation, and receive back the points for the 2 canceled nights?

If I have the RCI Travel Protection Plan and it is less than 120 days before check-in, can I cancel 2 nights, keep the other 4 nights, and receive back the points for the 2 canceled nights? (I understand that none of my exchange fee will be refunded, since I reserved more than one day ago.)

Assuming canceling just part of a Points reservation is allowed by RCI, is this something RCI's phone reps can handle easily, or are they likely to mess up my reservation?

Thanks in advance!
Judy

Not sure if you'd come out ahead doing this since you'll probably lose your exchange fee and then incur housekeeping fees if this resort charges them.
Might be better to just let it go unused and leave at your leisure on your fourth day instead of having to be out by 10am.

I agree that canceling just a night or two at most resorts wouldn't save anything. But this particular reservation is for the Manhattan Club. So, 1) they charge a ton of points every night; and 2) they charge a housekeeping fee every day, no matter how many nights you stay. So, I really don't want to let nights sit empty.
