Can I buy Westin Flex or Aventuras resale?

Hi! First time caller, long time listener ;-).

Well, not a long-time listener actually. We bought Westin Flex a couple of years ago, and Aventuras 10 days ago. Both from the developer. Rescision period for Aventuras is only 5 days. I now know what I could have purchased on the resale market with the same money, so let's move on. Moving forward, if I wanted to buy additional options in Flex or Aventuras, are there many opportunities to do that on the resale market? I read on the newbie FAQ that there are limitations to buying resale (e.g. you only get access to properties in the trust). I didn't see many (any) folks selling these products resale. Then again, they're only a few years old... anyway - thanks in advance for answers or for pointing me to the thread where this is discussed.

Westin Aventuras is a fairly young product, so that is a reason that we really haven't seen many on the resale market. As more people buy and we get further into the future, more people will be looking to get out and putting their Home Options up for sale. So, yes you can buy on the resale market, but a resale market with lots of supply really hasn't come to fruition yet for Aventuras.

Two Aventuras contracts on eBay right now.

I've bought from the seller before. They also advertise them on Redweek.

I’ve seen the occasional WFlex contract / but both WFlex and Aventuras are fairly rare at this point. I do see quite a few SFlex contracts. The other thing may be that Vistana seems to be a bit more aggressive in exercising ROFR on Westin Flex lately.

We tried to purchase one of these — the developer exercised ROFR, so we didn’t get it.
