I belong to RCI - but they are not offering decent TPU's on my Hawaii Timeshare this time.

Can I join Interval International and give them a try? Would this be of any value?

RCI website said my Xmas week 2013 was worth 42 points - but RCI told me to call Shell Vacations to bank and they said it was only worth 26 points!

Anyone understand RCI any better than I do? Why would the TPU's be so low?

I noticed the same week as mine going for 47 points on RCI - ??

Anyone understand this? Not sure if I should try another exchange company or trying selling the TS.

Suggestions from other tuggers who have been around longer?

The only way you could join II as well as RCI is if your resort is affiliated with both. But there are lots of smaller exchange companies out that that you can use, and most of them don't require a fee to join.

Trading Places International
Trading Places Maui
HTSE (not sure what that stands for)

All of these will accept units in Hawaii and you can check out most of their websites to see what areas they cover and which resorts they generally have.

Some resorts affiliate w- one or the other, exclusively.
Others with both. Check with your TS's management.

As for TPU's... do a search in the "Exchanging" forum.

SFX will most likely take it for a deposit. What is area are you trying to exchange into?

You already are a member at Platinum Interchange - call them to see if they will take your week's deposit.

The week I deposit with PI gets three in return. :D :D :D
