Can I be forced to convert to a point system

My deeded timeshare wanted to convert to a point system that does not work for us. If a majority votes to change, must we convert? If so , can I make them buy it back from me for defaulting on my original contract. Also if they can't make me and I won't. Must they honnor my original booking regulations, outlined in my purchase agreement?

no...you cannot be "forced" to do this.

its a common tactic to scare owners into paying to "convert" however.

You own what was deeded to you, and you have the right to that.
