Thinking it is a scam, but got a cold call about buying our points. No upfront money. Answers all questions. We've been to this rodeo too many times before, so guessing a scam, but just wondering if anyone has been able to sell points?

Ive been following the Facebook groups and ebay for several years and never seen any DRI points sold. Owners usually have to give them away with prepaid current year points plus pay all transaction costs to get rid of them. There's usually a dozen trying to give them away.

They may not even want your money. They may want enough personal information to steal your identity.

This is a scam. Cold calls are always scams. Period.

Referring to your title, technically, Yes, DRI points can be sold, but only if you find a someone with rocks for a brain. Points usually have to be given away and sometimes with added benefits (like a few week of usage) to get someone to nibble.
