Buying Thru Marriott Or Direct From Owner

I Am new At Timeshare Ownership. I Own One At Legends Edge That I Bought Thru Marriott. I Am Looking To Buy Another Week. What Are The Advantages/disadvantages Of Buying Thru Owner Or Timeshare Sellers As Opposed Thru Marriott.

The only disadvantage is not being able to trade for Marriott Reward points, otherwise, there are none. If that's important to you, you must buy through Marriott.

Now the advantage of course, is saving tons of money buying resale.
