I'm looking at a Shell resale. Points deposit to the account August 1, but the seller wants MF reimbursed starting from January. Points from the last anniversary have already been used. Is it just me, or does it seem wrong to require repayment of the entire year's MF? Or is this normal?

Isn't the MF in advance rather than in arrears? So it would be for the period of time for your usage.
