There's no way I want to spend $1,500 to purchase CS3 retail.

I've noticed resellers of used via Amazon and the usual assortment of sellers on eBay. The eBay ones are likely bootlegs which won't work but I did wonder about the Amazon sellers of used.

Anyone done this with or without success?

Hi

Had to look up what CS was --- ahh ... html editor ... You have a Mac now --right ? If not --save your money and ... well -- you know the drill

Look at the educational prices for software - you know someone with a kid in school - and the money you save will pay for you mac :)

Is Adobe CS that much better than Dreamweaver?

Looking forward to great looking web pages from you

Greg

Adobe CS is much more than an HTML editor. It includes parts of some of Adobe's best products.

Actually I was more interested in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator but I'd give Dreamweaver a shot as well.
