Hello All, does anyone have knowledge / experience buying DVC thru LLC (personal use)? What are the advantages (and disadvantages) of this setup and would it avoid resale restrictions when you sell (LLC still keeps ownership of DVC but in this case the managing members of the LLC change)?

Why not use a trust instead? Beneficiaries and trustees can be changed.

Also, might want to check if DVC will even sell to an LLC. Many timeshare companies stopped sales or transfers to LLCs because of the Viking Ship tactic.

What is the process of changing trustee names with the resort? Any experience?

Best to contact the specific resort or timeshare system's title department. Or use a service like LT Transfers that has a lot of expertise.
