Busch Gardens ticket info

Our family would like to go to Busch Gardens in April. We'll be in Williamsburg for a week and would like to go to Busch Gardens maybe twice. On their site I noticed a ticket option for a one day pass for $52 and then a three day CONSECUTIVE pass for $70. Is anyone aware of any other ticket options that might be available somewhere else? I don't think we want to go there two days in a row and would like more date flexibility rather than having to go during a three day period.

Can't answer your question, but check the park's schedule for the week you plan to go. If it's not the big school vacation week, it might only be open on the weekends. We found this out the hard way one year, as our school vacation was an "off" week.

last year summer passes for $65 or so

check when it gets closer to mid-march---last year they sold passes good from 3/15- thru 9/7 for aournd $65.

Several years ago we were in Williamsburg during Oct.(Canadian Thanksgiving) and Busch Gardens was only open Fri.,Sat. & Sun. They had a deal that upon leaving the park you could purchase the next day's admission for (I think) $10. Since we were there on the Sunday and they weren't open again until the Friday that's when the ticket could be used. It worked out well for us and the children (& parents!) were not tired out from 2 consecutive days at the park.

Depending on your travel plans for the next couple of years, you might check out their multi-park passes. They had a special last Spring for 2 year all Busch Park passes for around $200 each. We bought these and spent a couple of days at Busch Gardens Williamsburg then. Since, we've gone two days each to Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa. I also spent an afternoon at Sea World San Diego recently. We plan to go back to Busch Gardens Tampa for a day next month, and I'm sure will hit some of their parks for a few more days in the next year. The passes include free parking and some other perks.

They have the same deal as Shiela mentioned right now. It is a buy three get one free, platinum passport. The total for four come out to be about $800.

We definitely got our money's worth out of it also. We live 45 minutes from the Williamsburg Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. One of those years, we used it also for Sea World in San Diego and the next year in Florida at Tampa Busch Gardens and Sea World. And with the free parking and the 10% in-park discounts, we really got our money's worth. Last year, one day's park admission was $49.95 plus parking, so this was a great deal for us. I think there's a total of 7 or 9 parks it can be used at.

Just to clarify something from Egrit1986's post. The free parking is preferred too. That's something like $12 per visit and at Busch Gardens it puts you in the lot right by the ticket sales area.

The Platinum tickets also have some other perks, such as special seating areas for some of the shows. I walked into a full stadium to watch the Shamu show, but easily found a spot in the reserved area. My teens also found that they could flash their pass in Tampa for a second ride on some of the big coasters without standing in line. All of the benefits are listed on the website, I think.
