Urgent Information
Resort enforces one in four year rule. Applicable also to extra vacations. No more than two confirmations per calendar year allowed. Rule does not apply to Buganvilias owners. Members will have to pay three percent lodging tax additional to their expenses tax. A new visitor entry fee of $15.00 will be applied in the form of a tourist card. There is an additional fee for the use of the tennis courts.**Please do not mention freeze status to members** No guide dogs are allowed.

That comment has been in the footnotes for quite some time.

Last year, the 1-in-4 rule applied to owners also. I called them about that because I had a Buganvilias deposit that I needed to use because it was nearly expiring and told them that in the past, the 1-in-4 did not apply to owners. I was close to the 4 year date, and they let me use the RCI deposit. I did not ask what they meant about the "freeze", as it is sometimes challenging to communicate via email or phone with the customer service staff about things like that. I was just glad that after 3 emails, I was able get authorization to use my week so friends could join us while we were there.
