Hi, I have been an owner with Nantucket for close to 3 years and I finally decided to start a Tuggs account after reading all about the RCI debacle. I literally have been checking II every week to see if Nantucket would pop up in II's directory and today it did! I called Nantucket and the front desk girl was new and didn't know anything about it so she transferred me to reservations and the girl there told me that they are now with II and just waiting for it to be 100% finalized before notifying us owners. She said this has been in the works for a few months now. I am so happy about this because not having RCI made the timeshare useless to me because I avoid that resort at all costs! Thank you for this site, it has been very informative for me even as a non member. :)

That is good news for Nantucket owners as the linked discussion above did not have that info. My wife & I just talked about that exchange change as we were pulling into Stormy Point. I’ll have to update her now. Capital Vacations moved SPV to RCI, but we luckily still have our II account & can trade in either.

So happy I could help! I almost bought at SPV when it was Summerwinds and now I feel like all of these changes of hands are so they can keep selling more and more at already sold out resorts. So far I hear Capital is a good group to own with. Just with anything in timeshares though, the sales practices are horrible! I refuse to go back to BN because of how they promised us rentals to cover our maintenance fees and that never happened. Then the following year they made it to where I had to call into reservations at the resort just to exchange with RCI, I found that odd and it is probably why RCI left them. Too many false promises and lies

We are attending a VIP weekend now @ SPV....they still want us to trade our deeded week for Capital Vacation points. The cost is 1.5 times what we initially paid & our maintenance fees would move from $250 ( we own a tri-annual week) a year to over $1500. NO WAY we will ever change. Every CV owner we have interacted with is upset about moving to CV points. CV is offering more activities but still not as much as when Summerwinds owned them.

Nothing but lies and deceit from Bransons Nantucket be very careful. Our sales presentation was heavily focused on RCI to the point you'd think they were RCI. They are reselling the exact same deeds to other people. Apparently, they are not licensed to deal in points which might be why RCI have dropped them. There is also something shady going on with their maintenance fees too. I'm getting out of this ASAP. It's not worth the paper it's writing on btw they were still using RCI in their sales presentations after the fact.
