Stopped in Kilauea town to go to our favorite Fish Market on the way to Westin Princeville and found a GREAT new market has opened in the new Lighthouse Center.
Specializing in Organic goods, with an emphasis on locally sourced (+ more) items.....it’s a beautiful store. We were only there for a short visit but besides the Poke bar, I did not see any other fish for sale. I am hoping that is in respect for the wonderful fish market right across the parking lot. They did have Kaua’i raised beef and produce.

When we asked how long they’ve been open, we were told only 2 weeks. The place was pretty full with customers. “We originally received “gruff” from the locals but now that they see we are committed to the local economy and people will have other options than the corporate Foodland or have to go way back to Kapaa or even Costco.....they are happy.”
