We usually reserve and deposit Presidents week but would like to try to trade sooner. On the demand index it does not appear that the weeks become high demand until week 5. I would rather try and trade in the next week or two...should I wait or will I still be somewhat successful (trying for Hawaii in the summer) at weeks 2-5. Thanks!

I could believe that most of JANUARY is of a lower demand than Xmas/NYE and FEB/MAR ... having been down there during those different dates.... at Beach Place Towers.

I think these demand nuances are overrated. I would reserve the week now and deposit it.

This is really, really off topic, but if you own BPT you may want to reconsider. The cost they pay BP for their share of crude is set to start going up materially, which will hurt them no matter what oil prices do. One source for more detail:

I've made a bit of money buying puts on this in the past, at current oil prices the trust will cease to exist around 2022.

I would tend to agree. Though we don't really know how much the extra trade power comes in to play when placing an OGS, which the OP would be doing. For instant exchanges, these differences in trade power are meaningless.
