A question since MVC is closed today-
If I borrow points from 2021 to make a reservation and then cancel it will the points go back to 2021 or are they stuck in 2020?

I have a reservation that I am going to cancel when MVC opens tomorrow and want to use those points for my new reservation but I was going to grab the unit today while I see it and then have them shuffle the points around tomorrow- hope that made sense.

In the immortal words of Emily Litella- never mind!
A search of these boards shows the question was just asked and answered- they go back to 2021.
Thanks

Correct, which can be a great thing. If you use this years points, and it's closer to end of year (say it's September) and you cancel within 60 days (say you are using the Puck trick) then you have to use them within 60 days this year, which may not be feasible. By using next years points, you have a whole year to use them within 60 days. Later in the year, I tend to bank this years points and borrow next years for this very reason.

Ah, that is something to keep in mind.
I just wanted to be sure if I book now and call tomorrow to cancel the old reservation and ask them to switch it and apply the “oldest” points to this new reservation that the borrowed would go back where they started.
