Hi,
I'm trying to book hilton head island with points for next year and not having much luck. I can see availability on three consecutive days when i search using the one day option. However when i search using the three day filter these days are not available. Therefore I assume they are just odd availability gaps.

Has anyone booked a stay under individual days? if i do this do the resort make you check out and book in again each day? I don't mind changing rooms if we have to bu i don't want a midday gap where we cant access a room.
Thanks

Are they the exact same room type (size/view/lockoff)?

If you book the EXACT same unit- view/ size/ type ( number of doors, lock off of same size, bed configurations) chances are very good they won’t move you- they don’t want to clean the rooms again.
You do not have to check in/out under that scenario.
My last stay was 3 points nights booked together, a paid night booked on Marriott, a points night booked single, and then 2 more points nights booked together.
They won’t combine into one reservation but on Marriott they give you a space to list other reservation numbers so they know it’s all you.
I collect nights more often than not.
You can also waitlist if you have the extra points and book cash and cancel within the stated deadline.
.

What are you trying for. The busier times normally are gone very quickly when the booking window opens. Often in seconds at 13 months out and minutes at 12 months out. Also they often have a minimum stay so make sure you're looking for 7 night reservations if possible.

FYI - HHI has a very high individual deeded ownership and not a lot of ownership by the MVC Trust. If you are trying for platinum weeks, you will have challenged using MVC Club Points. At the 12 month mark, you can request to be placed on the waitlist. Or, consider renting out your point and using the cash to rent from an owner. You'd have to check out Redweek or other rental sites to see which properties are posted. All that being said, some folks still have success booking HHI with points, but it is few and far between. You may have to book one night at a time and then hope you can piece together a week. Best of luck to you.

I tried booking Heritage Club at 13 months out using Club points for every week in March 2025 once reservation window opened and nada. It's probably the toughest resort for me to use Club points.

That's peak Golf and Spring Break season, and owners usually occupy or rent out at high prices. I rarely see anything to book using MVC anytime at Heritage Club.

OP said that she could see 3 consecutive days when searching by individual day, but could not see the 3 days in a row. That is the issue.
