I called Marriott Owner Services this morning to book my OC weeks 50, 51 and 52. I got through at 8:59 and 18 seconds-according to my cell phone. After listening for 23 seconds to an ad for DP I pressed 4 for an owners services rep. I then listened to 2 minutes and 12 seconds of DP ads until I was connected. At that time I told the rep that I wanted to book three consecutive weeks starting Dec. 10, 2012. She kept asking me about all of the check in dates and why did I want the Monday check in. I just wanted her to book it. Well, she told me that there was no availability. I questioned it and she told me that there was no availability for Dec 7th or 8th either. When I told her that they were gold weeks and the 9th and 10th were platinum she did not know what I meant. I asked to speak to a supervisor as inevitably they always have inexperienced representatives on during this call in period. I then waited 18 minutes for a supervisor. It was only 9:20:15 when he came on the line. I told him what I wanted and he immediately said that there was availability and that he would book it. I complained about the previous rep and of course he defended her by saying other reps must have been holding the weeks. The bottom line was that I got what I wanted but once again it was a hassle. I thanked the supervisor and went on my merry way.
