Booking in 2021

Last night I tried to book a studio for three nights at HHV in February. First time I've seen three nights with upcoming availability since I started looking, and I planned to walk the reservation from there. However, the system wouldn't let me book. I tried three times and assume I can't book because the property is closed. But today those nights aren't available. In fact, there is little availability in January and February. Anybody know what's going on?

People have tons of points carried over and club reservations are free until the end of May.

Book a 1br, studios all got taken.

The nights were still there after the system wouldn't let me book them. That's what has me puzzled.

Dear Fam Scientists have shared strong hints so I’m concerned there will be deja vu late Fall into Winter 2020-2021. I might consider booking into desert areas late Spring/early summer with masks and gloves packed. Otherwise may await prophylactic therapy or vaccines. I’m too old to get sick cuz people are tired of SIP.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I can get to the 'book now' button at HHV in Feb...does it not let you get there? Or does it flake out in some way after you hit 'book now'?

I think there is a delay between someone booking a unit and it being removed from the web display, so by the time you click book its already gone on the back end. May have to start a whole new search to refresh the web display, its not automatic as reservations are made.

As someone else pointed out, this is presidents week so there were probably a lot of people booking or walking reservations right at midnight EST.

After I hit Book Now, the system rejected my booking.

I have experienced that online user web inventory isn't updated for several hours after some of my bookings. I have always felt (my experience anyway) that when I call HGVC CS, their inventory is updated instantaneously.

Last night three nights in a studio were available again. Was rejected three times. On the fourth--and what would have been my last--try, the reservation went through. I've never had this problem before, so it's good my schedule is flexible. Now to walk it into two weeks.
