Is it pretty easy to book a 2 BDR unit at Bonnet Creek on short notice? We'd be looking for random weekends off-season if that matters. We will probably buy into Wyndham points at another resort than Bonnet Creek, although I understand that points are point.

The resort when complete will have about 2,000 rooms.

At this moment, all 2009 Jan and Feb and March has available.

Of course, when economic back and the mouse get back to pack situation, it maybe another story.

Off season will be helpful, but weekends can still be problematic.

Be flexible and opportunisitic.

Bonnet Creek gets busy on weekends and holidays, but in the off season short notice 30 days is workable. I usually try for BC, but if not enjoy Star Island or Cypress Palm between those three resorts you can usually find something. Although BC is my family favorite.

I agree with you on the fact that once the resort is completed the large number of room will make availability easier IMHO.
