Hello

Anybody have experience booking the same unit at the same resort two consecutive weeks with II getaways? I understand that theoritecally they can move you but does anybody have experience staying both weeks in the same unit?

Kind Regards

I've been able to stay in the same unit for two or three weeks at several resorts using II getaways/exchanges. If I have consecutive weeks booked at a resort, I always request that I stay in the same unit. That might mean I get a less desirable unit (view/location), but I'd rather not move in the middle of my stay vs have a great view one week and then pack up and move the next. I think it all depends on the resort. If the resort has fixed week/fixed unit owners, I think you're more likely to be kicked out after a week.

I have done it before, most resorts tend to be very accommodating. But, as you mentioned, it is never guaranteed. Once in Aruba we were in a 2BR LO one week and the following was a 1BR. I asked if we could stay in the 1BR side of the LO. They needed the room for a 2BR reservation. But, they just said pack up the draws, keep all clothes on hangers in closet and food where it is and we will move you so you can enjoy the day.

They are pretty good about it. You shouldn’t have to move
