Book and cancel question

Hello All ,

I know I any many of you have done this before but I'm not sure if the rules have changed so I though I better ask first. I am out of 2020 points and want to book for December 2020 , Can I book a 90 day window res now, borrow from 2021 then cancel and have those points for 2020 use ?
