I learned that when you refer someone who purchases MVC you earn bonvoy points. It’s called Friendshare program. I had never heard it before. Has anyone? And how many points do you get? I’m assuming depending on how many destination points are purchased...

I think you get 100,000 points if the friend ACTUALLY buys points or a resale week.

I believe the program has been around for a long time, but they may have called it by a different name (prior to the introduction of "Bonvoy").

And it is state specific. Some states don't allow it and you get something else.

And I believe in some states they are not allowed to give you anything other than a thank you card.

I will never qualify for the 100,000 points because I always advise my friends AGAINST buying from the developer
