The 1500 bonus points (good for two years) I received with a recent purchase will expire in September. What should I tell Marriott to get them to extend them?

I could be wrong, but I believe because of current world circumstances they would be willing to extend the deadline for use.

Your best bet would be to contact Marriott directly and ask them to provide you with something in writing extending the bonus point use.

I have the same situation. 1,000 bonus points expiring in September. When I asked about extending them I was told they would not because they were bonus points.
