Hi all! I hope you can answer a few questions for me. I rented a reservation on March 8 and I have yet to receive a confirmation letter from BC. The owner has emailed me the confirmation but I can not open the file. Last time I rented from an owner I received an actual reservation confirmation from BC. I see on the email the owner sent me that I could be charged because I do not have a confirmation letter. Is this true? Bonnet Creek has confirmed that the reservation is on file. Thanks!
You wont get a confirmation directly from the resort. Wyndham uses a central reservations system for all their properties and they are the ones that send out the reservation confirmations. and they send these confirmations to the owner, not the guest.
It sounds like your owner tried to forward the confirmation to you. If you cant open it, get back to the owner and ask that he either try again or print it and scan it and save it in a different file format. and try again, If there is time, perhaps he can send it to you by regular mail...Or you could forward the email to another computer that is set up to open email attachments
Could you be charged if the owner didnt arrange a guest letter.?..sure, but it sounds like he has...you just cant open it
