I don't let them expire I just like the thought of never expiring. Maybe never expiring is something they are going to do when they change the point levels.
I highly doubt any timeshare company will ever have a benefit of usage points never expiring. There is already a problem of too many available points chasing a limited number of highly desirable stays, while less desirable room nights end up sitting unused. Allowing people to accumulate points indefinitely would exacerbate the supply vs demand issue exponentially.

At least I have a year to decide what I would want to do and maybe BG will put more information about the different levels.

I have been paying to save my points but we were told at gold they never expire. I figured the 10,000 points is not true. Thank you for the information I will look into it.
I know this is a little ole but we just upgraded to Gold and we’re also told that if you buy Gold now your points automatically roll over and never expire. Have you had a chance to test this?

This is a bit of creative story telling by the sales person.
Your points do not automatically roll over.
you pay to save your points and they are good in only red white blue time for one year.
Or you can pay to convert your BG points into Choice Hotel Points and they do not expire.

so yes, they LIED to you.

if you don’t want the addition points, rescind your purchase now while you still can.
