We've had The Fountains on our "some day" list for several years now, based strictly on how nice the resort looks from the outside.

In looking up information about the resort on TUG & on RCI's website, we noticed entries under the name Bluegreen Fountains & another name as well, Oasis Lakes At The Fountains.

Are there 2 separate timeshare resorts there, operating under those 2 different names ?

Are there 2 timeshare "phases" at a single timeshare resort ?

What am I missing ?

The resort has 2 names - due to how it was originally built. Same resort! Oasis was owned by Air Tours originally iirc.

Oasis lake was the original timeshare resort there, and Bluegreen bought/managed it and then built the fountains resort next to and around it.

I think the only sign at the road is for The Fountains. Pass by it many times but can't book in because we only exchange through II. It looked great when I flew my drone up for a birds eye view while we were staying at Vistana Villages.

Yes, you have to checkin with the fountains.
